ICE GLASS As a tabletop or a counter-top, a back-splash or a wall partition, our decorative iced glass always makes a good impression. It consists of three layers of glass of two outside layers of annealed glass and a center layer of tempered glass. After lamination, the center layer is shattered, producing the distinctive pattern.
Product Feature
Iced glass can be fabricated with tints, with colored dichotic layers, or with a silvered layer (creating an opaque, reflective panel). It can be flat-polished to achieve a smooth, machined finish. It can be cut to shape but, because of stresses resulting from expansion of the broken center layer, some shapes and cutouts cannot be fabricated.
